Jo Morecraft is a photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. From a young age they were captivated by small moments. Taking photos on disposable cameras, they took to photographing the world around them. At the age of 19, they were gifted their first DSLR and the rest is history. While digital is their main means of photographing the world, they also have experience in shooting and developing film and flying drones.
Their experience ranges from touring, wedding and elopements, portraits, and live music. They also find enjoyment in self-portraits, landscapes, and wildlife. In short, they just want to preserve memories.
Jo has been featured in the art show Tasteless, the Kentucky State Fair, the Inaugural Student Showcase at Arizona State University, and the upcoming art exhibition Life is Elsewhere: Social Surrealism in Kentucky Photography. They have also been shared across social media platforms by musicians from varying genres of music.
Jo lives with their loving fiancé and two dogs. They enjoy reading, creating art, making music, working out, makeup, and fashion. They will be finishing up their BFA in Digital Photography through Arizona State University in May.
